About my work

As a certified Relational Life Therapist, Integrative Coach, Hypnotherapist, Mindfulness Teacher and trainee Psychotherapist, I take a holistic, trauma-sensitive approach, and integrate therapies depending upon your particular needs. I create a safe, confidential space to work with individuals and couples of all ages, races, cultures, faiths and sexual orientations. Our therapeutic connection is important so I would invite you for an initial free chat before working together, to see if we are a good fit.

‘Nothing is more important in our lives than our relationships. A great relationship boosts your immune system, opens your heart and keeps you vital and creative’ Terry Real

I work with couples using the Relational Life Therapy model, created by internationally respected family therapist Terry Real, who teaches couples how to be more relational and cherishing in their relationships. These practical, proven tools help us to break trauma cycles, transform our relationships to create more authenticity and fierce intimacy. I believe we are all hardwired for human connection, and our relationships can serve as mirrors and assignments, encouraging us to evolve and heal together.

About me

Before going on a wellbeing journey, I spent 15 years working in the publishing industry in London, Dubai and Beirut. Interviewing people from all backgrounds and writing humanitarian stories fuelled my interest in human behaviour. Then, after going through heartbreak and grief, I became a spiritual seeker, which led me to live in India, where I learnt how to meditate. Back in the UK, I completed formal training in Zen Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness and co-authored a bestselling book called Practical Zen for Health, Wealth and Mindfulness. I also took a mental health training programme (endorsed by the NHS foundation trust of South London and Maudsley) in spiritual and pastoral care.

I am committed to continuous professional development, so am in ongoing psychotherapy (for my own growth and self-care) and I see an accredited supervisor on a regular basis so that I work within the ethical framework of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).

I believe we all have the potential to turn our pain into medicine, to break free from past trauma and patterns and to enjoy healthier and happier relationships with ourselves and others. I see online as well as face to face clients.
