*I’ve just got back from our Mind, Body, Soul retreat on the charming island of Sri Lanka. It was lovely to teach some Zen-inspired meditation in such beautiful surroundings and to such lovely students. The photo above was taken there and in case you’re wondering my colourful leggings are from Dharma Bums, a hip Australian yoga label (stocked at Yapparel) while my top is from Carrot Banana Peach, a gorgeous eco-friendly label (available in Stadium at The Dubai Mall).
*While on the topic of eco-friendly, I’m very impressed with a beautiful new concept called The Movement a new independent bicycle store on a mission to create a platform for people to live a healthier, happier and greener lifestyle. They stock a stylish selection of affordable bikes – go and see for yourself at the Dubai Garden Centre off Sheikh Zayed Road. Since I live near Downtown and the weather is cooler, I’ll be leaving my car at home and cycling around!
*I’m super excited about hosting my first cosmic party (which coincides with On Cloud Zen’s first birthday!) – it will be a charity event, held in the gardens of De La Mer spa on Friday November 7th at sunset. The idea is to raise money to help save our planet by supporting an eco initiative thanks to the Kevala Foundation in India. This cosmic sunset party will have fusion music (I’m thinking some reggae & Latin) with live drumming, healthy bites and drinks and perhaps some yoga-inspired stalls at the entrance. *Last but not least, some of you have been asking me about my group meditation classes and from next week onwards I will start teaching at the newly opened NYLA (a gorgeous fitness/lifestyle space off Al Wasl Road).
