*Yesterday evening I had my very first Zen Goddess Gathering with a wonderful group of women who exuded inner and outer beauty. While the candles and sage incense were burning, we did some Zen meditation and my friend Hayley shared some kundalini energy techniques. There was a beautiful Shakti energy in our sacred circle. It got me thinking that as women we sometimes forget that our natural state of being is to radiate love and a sense of unity towards one another. However, our culture promotes competitiveness and ambition, a masculine energy that doesn’t always encourage us to genuinely support and lift each other up. It’s time to celebrate our divine feminine energy together. We would love YOU to join us on our six-week Zen Goddess Journey starting on Wednesday 26th September. *This week, I popped into Eco Yoga Sanctuary and this eco-friendly space really took my breath away. Besides organic fruits, there are hydroponic plants from Germany that grow in stones rather than soil. The lovely Elaine Kelly, who runs this studio is truly passionate about being kind to our planet. From Hatha yoga to Sound Therapy workshops, there are classes for everyone. I recommend their Vastra Ayurvedic Eye Pillow made of pure silk and dyed with medicinal plants and herbs) and filled with organic flax seeds. Perfect if you want to relax in the bath after a hectic day at the office. Go to www.eys.ae for more information.
*Some of you might already know about Kevala Foundation (an upcoming sacred energy retreat centre, situated among lush forests and coffee plantations in India) but it’s now in its final stage of completion, which is exciting. It will be a unique space with healing, dance, art, yoga, meditation, tantra and vedas to raise higher awareness and consciousness levels. If you’re interested in booking your stay now or just learning more, why not pop down to Miracles on October 10th at 10am, where you can meet Dr Pradeep Ullal (the brainchild behind this beautiful concept) for a fun day of fusion music, healthy bites, healing and much more. Go to www.miraclesworldwide.com
*I’m in love with my new Ganesha meditation cushion from YApparel – it’s a lovely mini bolster with a soft purple silk top cover, perfect for my ten-minute morning meditations. I’m on the hunt for the ultimate meditation cushion for longer sittings as I’m starting my Zen Meditation & Mindfulness sessions, open to men and women, every Monday evening starting from September 22 at 7.30pm. These sessions will give you tools to de-stress, activate your inner strength and attract serenity and happiness into your life. Please email me (sarah@oncloudzen.com) if you’re interested.
*There are a few places left on our upcoming Mind, Body Soul mini-retreat in Sri Lanka from 3rd-6th October, where I will be teaching Zen meditation and my friend Camilla will be teaching fun, dynamic flow yoga. Throughout the retreat, Ceri will be on hand for personal life-coaching sessions. This gorgeous hideaway is overlooking the beach and a short walk away from the enchanting Galle Fort. Come on, it will be fun! To reserve a place please email info@myyogaway.com.
Love,
